LAS CRUCES, N.M., Oct. 9 -- New Mexico State University issued the following news release:
A prominent professor, researcher and New Mexico State University alumna will return to the university to present a lecture at 3 p.m. Oct. 30 in Corbett Center, Senate Chambers Room 300, as part of the Sigma Xi Research Society Distinguished Lectureship series.
Emily Tobey is a professor and Nelle C. Johnston Chair in early childhood communication disorders at the University of Texas at Dallas. Her lecture will cover advancements in hearing research and auditory rehabilitation devices, and is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the presentation.
