Article: WALKING DISTANCE AT OKLAHOMA CITY COMMUNITY COLLEGE

OKLAHOMA CITY, Nov. 11 -- Oklahoma City Community College issued the following news release:

Motivating employees to participate in physical fitness, Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) hosted Walktober, their first friendly walking competition, during the entire month of October.

Sixty-six participants walked a total of 6,748,719 steps, equaling 3,374 miles. That distance is similar to walking from Miami, FL to Seattle, WA.
