SILVER CITY, N.M., Oct. 21 -- Western New Mexico University issued the following news release:
Kicking off the yearlong celebration of Western New Mexico University Museum's 35th Anniversary on November 15, 2009 is a lecture by author Anne Hillerman and photographer Don Strel on their book Tony Hillerman's Landscape: On the Road with Chee and Leaphorn immediately followed by a reception and book signing at the WNMU Museum.
Anne Hillerman, the daughter of the late author Tony Hillerman, and Don Strel spent three years traveling the country featured in Tony Hillerman's seventeen- mystery novels featuring the legendary Navajo police officers, Sergeant Jim Chee and Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn. The ...
