GENEVA, Nov. 13 -- William L. Neumann, Raghavan Rajagopalan, Richard B. Dorshow, John N. Freskos, Jeng Jong Shieh, Karen L. Wooley and Nam Seung lee - all from United States of America, have developed a photonic shell-core cross linked and functionalized nanostructures for biological applications.
The patent has been assigned to Mallinckrodt Inc., Hazelwood, Mo., and WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY, St. Louis.
According to an abstract posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "The present invention provides optical agents comprising optically functional cross linked supramolecular structures and assemblies useful for a range of imaging, diagnostic, and therapeutic applications. ...
