For Lansingites who come originally from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras or another Latin American country, La Frontera is like a touch of home. And Andres Ruiz who, like many of his customers, came to this country pursuing education and opportunity, understands that being able to shop for familiar products in a familiar environment can do much to lessen the inevitable feelings of homesickness that some might feel.
