General Steel Fabricators Installs New Equipment

General Steel Fabricators, Joplin, Missouri, has recently installed four pieces of new equipment.

The custom fabricator, now in its 87th year, offers design, fabrication and welding for large and small projects in carbon, stainless steel and aluminum.

The new equipment includes: a Webb plate roller capable of handling plates up to 12' wide and 3/4" thick; a 24" x 20" vertical tilt-head HEM bandsaw; a Piranha 250-ton CNC pressbrake with a capacity of 10' and a Piranha 120-ton singleend punch. A 10-ton DeMag crane was also installed to work with the band saw.
