Brenda Verna, chief concierge of Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa has been named the recipient of this year's Concierge of the Year Award by Palm Springs Life Magazine. With so many beautiful properties in the collection of Palm Springs Desert Resorts, the competition was tough. But, the magazine selected Verna for her dedication to the job and her way of making every guest feel special. Verna actually was the first recipient of the Palm Springs Life Concierge of the Year Award in 1995.

"I love my job so much, I can't believe that they pay me for what I do," explains Verna, a Southern California native and 14-year employee at the Renaissance Esmeralda.
