Lean thinking guru Dan Jones expounded on his favourite topic with SupplyNet SouthWest
Lean thinking has the potential to revolutionise the flow of value through a supply chain - and it's not just for Japanese car giants, according to Professor Dan Jones.
In a presentation to purchasing managers at last month's SupplyNet SouthWest event in Bristol, he told the audience that although the automotive and to a lesser extent aerospace sectors have so far been the focus for lean thinking, there is no reason why the same logic should not be applied to other industries.
