In recent months, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has been working with various manufacturers to remove potentially hazardous products from the marketplace. Following is a list of voluntary product recalls, performed in cooperation with CPSC.
Creative Technologies Corp., Brooklyn, NY, has recalled 50,000 pasta machines. The safety cutoff switch (on the lid) does not activate.
Polaris Industries Inc., Minneapolis, has recalled 20,670 snowmobiles, which have defective steering arms.
Sachs Bicycle Components, Anaheim, CA, has recalled 16,500 mountain bikes to replace their defective chains.
Brio Corp., Germantown, WI, has voluntarily replaced the hats on 79,000 wooden clown ...
