Hagerstown Business College increased its fall enrollments for the fifth consecutive year, to 885 students, a 62% increase from figures reported in 1998. The college attributed the increase to the addition of new programs in information technology and graphic design.

Bank of Clarke County announced a new branch that will be located at the northeast corner of Route 7 in Frederick County, Va., and the new access road to Millbrook High School. With one branch under renovation and three others under construction, by mid-year 2003, the Berryville-based bank will have 11 branches and 23 ATMs.
