To Begin with, God Created ... is a collection of essays that originated as a series of lectures presented at the Catholic Faculty of Theology in Munster. These essays seek (1) to demonstrate that the message of the Bible is significantly more influenced by the theology of creation than many would suppose and (2) to draw out the relevance of creation theology for the Church today. A subtheme in the book is that creation theology and salvation theology belong together.
