CASE REPORT
Chemical hair relaxers are used by many women to straighten their hair. We describe a case of a deep soft tissue staphylococcal abscess that complicated an irritant contact dermatitis from a hair relaxer treatment. (J Natl Med Assoc. 2002;94:121-123.)
