Gary Bowden, long-time vice president and general manager of WBOY-TV in Clarksburg, has been named senior vice president for statewide sales for West Virginia Media, Bray Cary, president and chief executive officer of the company, announced.
"When we first met Gary, he said he was looking for professional growth opportunities," Cary said. "We believe this a great opportunity for him and
West Virginia
Media. His relationships will allow him to lead our group as we grow throughout the state."
Bowden, 52, began his career at WBOY in 1973, and he has been station manager for more than 11 years. He will continue to work from WBOY's offices in Clarksburg.
