Standard Electric buys two distributors

Standard Electric, Wilmington, Mass., independent electrical distributor, has expanded its presence in the Massachusetts market with the acquisition of Intercity Electric, of Framingham, and Lowell Electric, of Lowell. Both facilities will operate under the Standard Electric name. Standard Electric serves the electrical supply, lighting, power distribution, and telecommunications markets.
