US EPA 33/50 Program success stories now on the Web

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 33/50 Program has collected more than a hundred examples of industrial innovation at its best-innovations that have reduced pollution, focused corporate priorities, and very often have led to net economic savings.

The 33/SO Program is an EPA experiment at reinventing government: a program that asked industry to voluntarily help meet the goals of a 33 percent reduction in priority chemicals by 1992 (against a 1988 baseline), and a 50 percent reduction by 1995.
