Users of Pro/ENGINEER CAD/CAM/CAE software, from Parametric Technology Corp. of Waltham, Mass., can download free solid models, or "templates," from the Pro/E Parts Library of Virtual Engineering Inc. in Plymouth, Mich. (www.veng.com/proe.html). The templates include bearings, bushings, cabling, fasteners, gears, springs, structural members, wheels, and package information.
