As part of its ongoing 'Synthetic Glove Program', Ansell Healthcare has announced the introduction of the new Derma Prene ULTRA neoprene gloves.
Available in a very distinctive green colour, the new Derma Prene ULTRA surgical glove is claimed by Ansell to be 'quite possibly the most advanced glove solution for the prevention of Type I and Type IV allergies for healthcare professionals and patients.'
The company says, 'Unlike most other synthetic (and latex) gloves, Derma Prene ULTRA gloves do not contain any vulcanisation accelerators which are known to cause Type IV allergies. This, combined with latex-free (for the prevention of Type I allergies) and powder-free safety features, means ...
