A Cornell University survey identified sites in New York State that accept food residuals or have an interest in expanding their composting facilities to accept ICI feedstocks.
IN 1997, the Cornell Waste Management Institute (CWMI) in Ithaca, New York undertook a survey to analyze the composting infrastructure in New York State. The goal was to determine the state's capacity for composting food residuals from the institutional/ commercial/industrial (ICI) sector.
