Survey reveals only one in five allergy sufferers use prescription eye drops to alleviate symptoms
Arlington Heights, IL-Some 82% of Americans suffer itchy, red, watery eyes, yet more than half do not seek their doctor's advice about these annoying symptoms.
A survey sponsored by the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI) asked 2,000 adults about typical eye allergy symptoms.
Most of America's 50 million allergy sufferers suffer eye allergies. In addition to the 82% who reported itchy, watery eyes, 37% reported having nasal allergies. However, more Americans are inclined to see a doctor about stuffy running noses and sinus problems than to seek ...
