Article: Two challengers for Kenya Airways

Kenya Airways, is now faced with two other rivals. African Airlines International, run by Captain Musa Bulhan, and a third airline, East African Safari Air (previously CHS aviation), have both been promised national carrier status.

This comes at a bad time for Kenya Airways which is struggling to restore investor confidence on the Nairobi Stock Exchange, where its share price has dropped from Shs11.50 to Shs7.00. But the Kenya government has assured Kenya Airways that it will retain its single carrier status for the next five years.
