For many years, this large lakefront location housed an all-purpose eat-seafood-anddrink-through-sunset restaurant called Bart's. When that place and its proprietors fell on hard times, the call went out for new owners and some pretty high-profile names at least gave a look. The location is that spectacular.
The restaurant that ended up here is a tale equally tangled, with Joe's Crab Shack growing out of Landry's, which itself sprung from the same family tradition that sprinkled Don's restaurants around Louisiana.
