There's a new buzzword in the Indianapolis retail world, and its name is Von Maur.
The family-owned, Davenport, Iowa,based upscale fashion department store opened its first local shop at Castleton Square Mall Sept. 26, and will open a second in Greenwood Park Mall later this moth.
Local retail experts believe the store's main selling points--a no-interest credit card and profuse personal service--will make it a popular addition to the Indy retail scene.
"I think we should be very pleased to have them in this marketplace," said Bill French, vice president of retail sales and leasing for Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, a local commercial real estate company.
