PRESEASON PRIORITY: The offense is the key to the season, and the line, which struggled last year, is on the spot. The talent level has improved with the additions of RT Jordan Gross, G Bruce Nelson and LG Doug Brzezinski, but it can take a long time for a line to jell. LT Todd Steussie, C Jeff Mitchell and RG Kevin Donnalley must help the younger players through the transition. Gross and Brzezinski have to pick up the blocking schemes quickly because there will be pressure to open holes for RB Stephen Davis. If the line blocks well for the running game, the passing game could make dramatic improvement.
