Kitchen shops feature wonderful selections of cast iron in all shapes and sizes. However, don't limit your search to retail stores; yard sales and flea markets are home to some fantastic finds.
When you buy a new piece of cast iron, it's neither shiny nor black and definitely not ready to use. But give cast iron a little attention and you're set for years of good cooking.
