How prevalent is food allergy?
As discussed previously, there appears to be a real increase in food allergies over the past decade.1
However, although there are no population-based studies that specifically address the epidemiology of food allergy, there also appears to be a different perception between the public and the medical profession in relation to the symptoms and prevalence of food allergy and intolerance.2-3
