Article: Mug 'n Bun keeps curb appeal

At Mug In Bun, a drive-in restaurant at 5211 W. 10th St. in Speedway, servers are still called curb girls and the person who takes the order to the cooks and makes the drinks is still the fountain boy. A small group of men, many of whom have been working at Mug In Bun for 10 years or more, cook all the food fresh to order.

Watson recently bought Mug In Bun from Morris May, who retired after slicing onions and mixing root beer for 38 years. Although the owner has changed, the food and atmosphere haven't.
