Article: Study clears the way for development of McDowell County industrial park

BLUEFIELD - A McDowell County development project that was stalled briefly while scientists searched for an endangered bat species got the go-ahead July 9, and work is proceeding along as projected.

"They set collection nets on the property that's the site of a planned industrial park," Elden Green said. Green is president of the Welchbased Greentree Consulting.
