Milliken Carpet has received the first Evergreen Award from the United States General Services Administration in recognition of Milliken's Earth Square renewable carpet program.

The award is open to all industries and recognizes environmentally sensitive engineering, design, products and processes. The Earth Square process and Milliken carpets, which are renewable, are listed on the GSA's Federal Supply Schedule for approved purchase by government agencies. Both products increasingly are being used by the federal government to create model sustainable building environments.
