CHARLESTON -- After only a year in business, Capitol Market has a lot to celebrate.
The indoor and outdoor farmers' and retail food market celebrated its first full year in operation Aug. 1, which executive director Lisa McCracken said has been very much a success.
"Business has been tremendous from the spring '98 season all the way through the summer season and we hope this will continue into fall and the holiday season," McCracken said. "Last year for the outdoor market and for the indoor market, we had an education process to do as being a new property in town.
