Two recent studies published in the International Journal of Nutrition and Cancer (IJCN) provide further evidence that higher intake of omega-3-fats, vitamin E, beta-carotene and dietary fiber can help reduce the risk of breast cancer. Previous evidence suggests that as much as 50 percent of breast cancer cases are attributable to faulty dietary behaviors. Which nutrients are protective and which dietary agents are causing the problem is not yet conclusive.
