This book is part of the Advanced Topics in Organizational Behavior series edited by Julian Barling and Kevin Kelloway. I have read three other books in this series and have found them to be excellent reviews of their particular subject matter (Meyer & Allen, 1997; Parker & Wall, 1998; Spector, 1997). Therefore, in reading Jex's book, I was primed with high expectations-all of which were met.
