The Coast Guard held a reception 10 November in the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington. D.C., to commemorate the formal establishment of an Office of Coast Guard Reserve. Gathered at the event were members of Congress, DoT and Dol) dignitaries, ROA representatives, and other association representative and guests.
Notable among the members of Congress were Cong. Steve Buyer (R-Ind.) and Cong. Gene Taylor (D-Miss.), who are the co-chairs of the House Reserve Components Caucus; Cong.
