Army offers many career opportunities: More Blacks and women are looking at the Army as a career or as a means to secure money for college
Twelve years ago, Kevin Jenkins looked at his surroundings in Fayetteville, N.C. and saw nothing positive. He decided he wanted to be all that he could be...in the Army.
"I decided at a young age that I wanted to come to the Army," said Jenkins, now a drill sergeant at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. "It's been a good experience for me. The Army has instilled discipline. It transformed me from a boy to a man."
