Robert Mungin, 73, of East Liberty, is a retired elementary school principal and a prostate cancer survivor who has a strong faith in God. About four years ago, his faith was tested when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. The cancer was not discovered because he wasn't having any problems--his doctor discovered it during a routine office visit. Mr. Mungin knows that if he had not been seeing his doctor on a regular basis and had waited until there were symptoms, it might have been too late. Fortunately, when the cancer was discovered, it hadn't spread from the prostate. Mr. Mungin was given radiation therapy to treat his cancer. Today, he is doing just fine.
