Hill District Federal Credit Union--$2 million strong and growing

In the past five years, the Hill District Federal Credit Union's assets have doubled to more than $2 million.

The announcement was made April 24, during the institution's 27th annual meeting. The meeting is a festive family-oriented event held each year to up-date members and co-owners on the credit union's progress.

During the meeting, keynote speaker Earl F. Hord, managing general partner of the Keystone Minority Capital Fund, said the credit union is benefiting from a rebirth of the surrounding community.
