Davis, Latifah Winners Of Black Film Festival Top Awards

The Acapulco Black Film Festival, presented by UniWorld Group, Inc. and the Black Filmmaker Foundation, culminated recently with the gala Black Film Awards Ceremony at the Juan Ruiz de Alarcon Theater. The winners in the categories of 1996 Film of the Year, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director and Soundtrack of the Year were announced at the awards ceremony hosted by Robert Town-send. Halle Berry and Bill Duke were also honored for their artistic achievements at the awards ceremony.
