Ex-Steeler Cole enters race for Washington County commissioner

J.C. Watts, Steve Largent, Bill Bradley, Jesse "The Body" Ventura and now Robin Cole?

A former Pittsburgh Steeler linebacker and two-time Super Bowl champion, Cole hopes to join the ranks of former athletes who have left the playing field for the political arena.

Cole is seeking to become the first African-American to win a seat on the Washington County Board of Commissioners. If elected, he will be one of only a handful of Black elected officials in the county.

To add to the mix, Cole is seeking the Republican nomination.
