`Journey' Marchers Meet With Justice Department: Gammage case delays. possible federal intervention

A large delegation that traveled to Washington, D.C., to keep pressure on the U.S. Department of Justice concerning the Jonny Gammage case showed how passionate people feel about the issue of police brutality.

Organized jointly by the Campus Coalition for Peace and Justice and the Concerned Christians at Work, the Journey for Justice brought citizens from Pittsburgh, Syracuse and several other sites along the East Coast together in the nation's capital.

What the Justice Department's next step will be remains unclear.
