Bernice King to speak at Geneva College

The youngest child of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Rev. Bernice A. King, is remembered by most as the 5-year-old in the Pulitzer Prize-winning photograph taken of her as she lay in her mother's lap during her father's funeral. Today, Bernice is known for her gift of oratory, which she will use to inspire others at a lecture to be held at Geneva College March 30.

King accepted an invitation to speak at Geneva in conjunction with the school's celebration of National Women's Month. Her public lecture will begin at 7 p.m. in the Metheny Fieldhouse on Geneva's campus.
