Infant immunization campaign launched
WASHINGTON, D.C.--Members of Congress and officials of the Auxiliary to the National Medical Association, Inc., announced the launch of a demonstration project to increase infant immunization rates in urban and rural areas where rates are lower than normal.
Congressmen Donald Payne, D-N.J., and Bill Clay, D-Mo., joined with Sharman Dennis, president of the Auxiliary to the National Medical Association, in announcing "Destination Vaccination" as a grass roots partnership with physicians, other care providers, parents, expectant parents and community-based organizations to improve infant immunization in areas where immunization rates are lower than the ...
