Hemmings Motor News has won the Year 2000 Child Care Counts Award for Excellence for businesses which have between 31 and 150 employees.

Hemmings, located in Bennington, employs 150 people full and part time. It publishes, besides its flagship monthly, Hemmings Motor News, a number of books, an annual almanac, and nine calendars. This year, in partnership with a Web company and the premier car auctioneer in the country, it launched a Website: eclassix.com.
