Vital Signs: Examining the Progress of Black Graduation Rates at High-Ranked Universities
On the previous page we showed the current black college graduation rates at the nation's highest-ranked universities. We now examine the trend in black graduation rates at these universities over the past five years. During this period the progress of black graduation rates at these schools presents a mixed bag. The largest improvement in the black student college graduation rate was at the University of California at Berkeley. There the black graduation rate rose by 10 percentage points.
