Young blacks are making important progress in their rate of high school completions, but a stubborn racial gap in the percentage of young blacks and whites completing college has remained fairly constant for the past quarter century.

This journal's principal mission is to report and evaluate information and to provide useful insights on the progress of blacks in higher education.
