Article: United Way of Broward County hosts 10th Annual Day of caring

Over 1,800 volunteers will come together to renovate a local high school at United Way of Broward County's 10th Annual Day of Caring event on Friday, Nov. 1, starting at 7 a.m. Day of Caring is one of the most important ways United Way of Broward County has of giving back to the community.

This year volunteers will renovate Northeast High School, a 52-acre site located in Oakland Park. Renovation plans include exterior painting and campus grounds landscaping. The event is made possible thanks to a generous corporate workforce and supplies donated by the community.
