seasonal beer could be made as early as this spring. He was interviewed for the television news program "Cover Story," which will air at 6:30 p.m. Saturday on News Channel 8 in La Crosse. The program is a joint effort of NewsChannel 8 and the La Crosse Tribune.
Smith also said cans of City Lager and City Light beer were being packaged Wednesday. The two brands previously were available only in bottles and kegs. City Lager made its debut Dec. 15, and was followed a week later by City Light. La Crosse Lager and La Crosse Light became available in cans and kegs last month and eventually will be offered in bottles as well, Smith said.
