Unsettling America: An Anthology of Contemporary Multicultural Poetry.
As the title of this volume suggests, Unsettling America is a collection of contemporary poetry that disrupts notions of cultural identity while demythologizing what it means to be "American." While the poetry is contemporary, the narratives often reach back generations, sometimes centuries, weaving the stories of individual journeys into whole histories that tell the truth of people's lives.
