Two years ago, Blanche Laura had it all--a loving family, a successful career and social life and, of course, a lovely smile. But on January 15 of 2000, a drunk driver hit Blanche and husband, Merrill, at high speed, rendering her comatose and in critical condition. Many bones were broken, including the right femur, but the gravest damage came from major head trauma that caused memory loss, hearing impairment and paralysis.
