Treatment standards for pressure ulcers largely unchanged

San Francisco - The quality of research defining risk factors for and treatment of pressure ulcers has improved over the last five years. However, there still is not sufficient evidence to make a large impact on existing treatment standards, David J. Margolis, M.D., said at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology.
