AndroGel
Solvay Pharmaceuticals' subsidiary Unimed Pharmaceuticals, Buffalo Grove, IL, received Food and Drug Administration approval to market its testosterone-- replacement product AndroGel(TM) (1% testosterone gel) (C11) for replacement therapy in men for conditions associated with low testosterone, or hypogonadism. Clinical data indicates that the product quickly raised circulating testosterone to desirable levels and maintained it within the normal range.
