HINTON - During regular session on April 28, 2003, the Summers County Commission took the "first official step" toward implementation of a plan designed to maximize the benefits of the community.
Commission members Lonnie Muffins, Jerry Berry and Bill Lightner voted unanimously to adopt the Summers County 2020 Mission and Vision Statement.
